P.E.A.C.E. Project
Protecting Everyone Against Cyberbullying Efforts
Our goals and Objectives
Through the PEACE project, we aim to equip our students with a comprehensive set of specific competences and skills that will empower them to navigate and thrive in the digital world while combating cyberbullying. The primary goals include:
Digital Literacy: Students will learn how to use digital tools and platforms effectively and safely, gaining skills in navigating the internet, understanding privacy settings, and recognizing reliable sources of information.
Critical Thinking: The project will enhance students' ability to critically evaluate digital content, identify cyberbullying behaviors, and understand the impact of their digital footprint. They will develop analytical skills to differentiate between constructive and harmful online interactions.
Effective Communication: Pupils will practice clear and respectful communication online. They will learn how to express themselves appropriately in different digital contexts and handle conflicts or bullying incidents with confidence and empathy.
Problem-Solving: Students will be equipped with strategies to address and resolve cyberbullying situations. They will learn to apply these strategies in real-life scenarios, fostering resilience and resourcefulness.
Empathy and Support: Through role-playing and collaborative activities, students will develop empathy towards victims of cyberbullying. They will be trained to offer support and guidance to peers who might be experiencing bullying.
Cybersecurity Awareness: Students will gain knowledge about the importance of cybersecurity, understanding the measures needed to protect their personal information and the consequences of cyberbullying for both perpetrators and victims.
These targeted competences and skills will not only prepare students to handle cyberbullying but also promote a safer and more respectful digital environment.
